Primer for Outdoor Floor Marking Applications

Guaranteed long-lasting outdoor floor marking.

Product description:

• Adhesion-optimising primer for adhesive floor products.
• 1L primer corresponds to approximately 3 m² of adhesive surface or 2 of our 50 mm x 25 m rolls of outdoor anti-slip adhesive tape (art. 197674).

Product advantages:

• Increases the adhesive strength of an adhesive tape on critical surfaces.
• Adhesive-unfriendly materials are made tacky by the primer coating.

Usage:

• Ideal base for laying tapes, symboles and signs on difficult surfaces.
• Can be used indoors to strengthen adhesion of floor marking.
• The adhesive primer is always necessary in outdoor areas to ensure appropriate adhesion to the substrate!

Technical characteristics:

• Material: solvent-based paint-adhesive.
• Warning: this product is flammable and can cause eye and skin irritations. Please follow all safety precautions explained in the MSDS and on the product.
• Keep container tightly closed in a well ventilated place.
• Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. Do not smoke.
• In case of fire, use powder or sand to extinguish the fire.
• Do not allow contents to enter wastewater.
• Made in the Netherlands.

Application: 

• Only use the primer in outside areas. The surface to be marked must be dry and free of dirt and grease.
• Use protective clothes while using the primer.
• Application temperature must not fall below 10°C.
• Shake can vigorously before use.
• Apply primer generously to porous substrates 
  (brush or spray), a thin application is sufficient for smooth surfaces.
• Then allow to evaporate for approx. 20-25 minutes before applying floor marking.
• Clean application equipment with white spirit or similar. Close can immediately after use. Once opened the can must be used within 2-3 days.
